Deán received his BFA in Photography and Film from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018. He is from Flushing, Queens, NY and are based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They have been published in The New Yorker, Hyperallergic, Aperture Magazine, Nueva Luz, and have shown at El Museo del Barrio, The Museum of New York, and The Center in New York City.
